What is Glutathione?
Glutathione (L-gamma-glutamyl-L-cysteinyl-glycine) is a peptide molecule synthesized in the body. Glutathione is one of the body's most important and powerful antioxidants.1

What is L-cysteine?
L-cysteine is a conditionally essential amino acid, one of only three sulfur-containing amino acids. Cysteine plays a role in the sulfation cycle,24-26 and also helps synthesize glutathione.6-9

Why is Vitamin C included in this formula?
Vitamin C is an essential nutrient — and as an antioxidant, it scavenges free radicals in the body and protects tissues from oxidative stress, as well as performing several other important functions. Vitamin C is also vital to the formation of collagen, the connective tissue that supports arterial walls, skin, bones, and teeth.10-22
