Guard against toxic heavy metals

The Forever Health Heavy Metals Blood Panel helps you assess your risk and exposure to potentially harmful heavy metals such as mercury, arsenic, and aluminum, so you can take appropriate steps to protect your health.

If you are concerned about your environmental exposure to heavy metals such as mercury, arsenic, and aluminum, consider the Forever Health Heavy Metals Blood Panel. The body is able to rid itself of small quantities of these metals, but even moderate amounts can build up in your liver, kidneys, bones, and brain. Testing your blood for potentially dangerous heavy metals is a good way to determine if you have a problem so you can take appropriate measures to protect your health.

Fasting is not required. Take all medications as prescribed. Avoid seafood 72 hours prior to collection.

Know your exposure to potentially harmful metals:

  • Mercury — atmospheric mercury can occur in rain as well as freshwater fish and can negatively affect your brain and kidneys.
  • Arsenic — arsenic in the water supply can build up in shellfish and other marine life. Arsenic is deadly, and can harm the blood, central nervous system, digestive system, skin, and kidneys.
  • Aluminum —commonly found in antiperspirants, cooking utensils, tin foil, and even the water we drink, aluminum is a neurotoxin that alters the blood-brain barrier.

NOTE: Blood tests are available only in the continental United States and Anchorage, AK. Not available in Maryland. Your blood test requisition options are a LabCorp requisition form or a blood draw kit. Certain restrictions apply for residents of MA, NY, NJ, RI, and PA. Customers in MA, NY, NJ, and RI will receive a blood draw kit, and an additional local blood draw fee may be incurred. PA customers must go to LabCorp for their blood draw.
